IMPACT
With this project we hope to develop key skills in students´ training and reinforcement of motivation that will faciliate their
learning. One of the main impacts of this project is that the students will be encouraged in the sense of initiative and developing their entrepreneurial skills.
The NIF project will involve partners from both school and the outside world. The pedagogical approach proposed during the project will develop new methods, strategies, pedagogical materials and other type of supportive material that will be created to establish the partnership and the network between schools and the outside world (e.g. state authorities, business companies).
Also, leadership skills among school staff involved and teachers' skills in collaborating with each other will be developed. New links will be established between schools partners, students´ families and the business world.
This project will respond to the needs of the rapidly changing world of work and ever more diverse society range of key competences in young people.
The various disciplines involved will contribute to promote a solid foundation skills – such as literacy, and transversal key competences - such as learning to learn, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, social, civic and cultural competences.
Although the NIF company will be fictional, it might inspire the students to set up a real company and continue with the project in real business world.
EUROPEAN ADDED VALUE
The increasing globalization of economies and increased competitiveness require strengthening European´s response to new challenges. The most effective way is using scientific knowledge to make companies more technologically advanced.
The creation and development of entrepreneurship can be incorporated in secondary schools through the implementation of projects that promote a sense of innovation in teachers and students. These projects should show how to eliminate bureaucratic obstacles, the way to access funding, foster a sense of risk-taking, reduce the stigma of failure and thereby entrepreneurship.
Schools will implement this project that will boost innovation and entrepreneurship, paving the way for young people to engage in research projects based on their ideas and set up businesses for themselves.
This project will help the involved schools to work with the job market and other key factors outside school, establishing partnerships and improving teachers and students´ entrepreneurial skills.
As this project will be extended to several European countries, thus further opens the possibility of developing new partnerships and increases the awareness of the reality of business in other regions of Europe, the result will be more effective and applicable in the field of European business.
Another major objective of the project is to increase the sense of European citizenship by creating conditions for students
to participate in new technology-based activities through a dynamic interconnection between the project partners and
partner institutions: universities, business associations, research and development companies, etc.., across Europe.
As Europe is becoming a global village, it is more and more necessary to know and learn the similarities, differences, ways of effective communication, advantages and disadvantages of each nation in the village. The project teaches theparticipants to take advantage of the global village and let them find the ways how to live in it.
